Lecture by Prof. Joann Fletcher from York University on Wednesday 25 May at 7pm

In this centenary year of the discovery of Tutankhamen’s tomb, Prof Joann Fletcher will look at the many links between the land of the Nile and the North Yorkshire coast, from the local men and women who were pioneers of Egyptology to Scarborough’s own part in the Tutankhamen story.


5 Star Brass concert

FRIDAY, MAY 27, 2022 AT 7 PM

A concert by the six experienced musicians of 5star brass in the beautiful setting of Scarborough’s Parish Church, St Mary’s overlooking the Old Town and Harbour. This highly acclaimed group perform music for everyone: from Bowie, the Beatles, Duke Ellington, to Faure, Gershwin and Dvorak and many more; bringing to life some of the greatest music of all time.
The musicians share their experience of having performed in top brass bands, big bands, orchestras, jazz and cabaret groups to provide an evening of music described by previous audiences as ‘amazing and unforgettable’.


Come and see our spectacular flower festival celebrating the four amazing women: The diamond jubilee of her majesty along with the Bronte Sisters.

Every Sunday at 4pm

Encounter is a community of people of all ages exploring what it means to follow Jesus as young people and families. We meet together on a Sunday afternoon at 4pm for a time of worship appropriate for all ages where everything is made accessible for those who are new to faith. As a part of our meetings together we also eat a meal together at 5pm.

Little Lights Toddler Group

Every Monday 9.15 to 10.45

If you've got kids aged 0-4 then bring them along for fun and games, singing and a bible story. We'll provide healthy snacks for children and cake and coffee for adults. Cost is free but a £1 donation per family can be given to cover food costs. 

We meet every MONDAY in term time in the Auborough Room in Parish house (the Rainbow Centre)
